The sunburst has been a decorative motif in design and architecture for centuries. Proving a talented lighting designer can take historical iconography and make it contemporary, Tom Caldwell was intent on putting a modern industrial twist on the emblem that accents the Sundrop Floor Lamp. Made of metal in a polished nickel finish, the long, thin stem extends from a cylindrical white marble base. Finishing off the sunny disposition of this silver lamp is a gray linen shade fastened in place by a finial in a polished nickel finish.
