The artistry required to create such a cohesive flow of rope on a piece such as this, particularly given the rope is as fine as it is, takes our artisans a great deal of time to master. Giving the pedestal an implied base by changing the direction of the rope from horizontal to vertical is a smooth move on this textural piece.
